Acne skin is often associated with oily skin. Then there is too much sebum (oil) and insufficient nourishment (mainly moisture), acnes appear. When the sebum is oxidized, you find your horny layer (outermost layer of the epidermis) thickens and hardens. When this happens, dirt is easily accumulated on your skin and bacteria start to grow. Therefore, you skin may not perfectly or properly cleansed with cleansing oil only. You need to cleanse your face with foaming cleanser or non-foaming cleanser afterwards. Foaming cleanser is more suitable for oily skin. Non-foaming cleanser is more suitable for dry and sensitive skin. Recently, it is very popular to use non-rinse cleanser. If you are not sensitive to water (or if the quality of water is acceptable), you should rinse your face thoroughly with water.
Most skin problems like dryness, enlarged pores, spots, etc, can be improved or solved by proper cleansing. On the other hand, improper cleansing may irritate your skin and causing dullness and enlarged pores. After some time, you may find your pores being clogged by sebum and leads to acne formation. Proper cleansing facilitate the natural metabolic power and let your skin cleanse and excrete unwanted dirt and waste. Following the above tips and you will notice the difference of your skin. By applying toner to your face alone, you skin feels nourished.
