Most of the false eyelashes are reusable for 5-8 times, so do not throw them away when you have used them once. But you cannot just take them off from your eyelid and then expect to use them again the next time. To keep your false eyelashes reusable (save money) and beautiful, you must know how to clean them properly.

Normally, what have stayed on your fake eyelashes after using are eyelash glue, mascara, eye shadow and of course germs. You have clean them all off from your false eyelashes.

Step 1: Use cotton bud with eye-makeup remover to clean all the mascara, eye shadow, and eyelash glue off your false eyelashes. You may choose to use other makeup remover instead of the eye one, but preferably the non-oily one.

Step 2: Put the false eyelashes into lukewarm water and soak them for a while (around 20 minutes). Take them out and you can find the eyelash glue if not removed in step 1, easily to be removed by using a cotton bud to pull slightly on the false eyelashes base. Lukewarm water is the best, please be careful not to use hot water as the hot water can make the false eyelashes hard.

Step 3: Put them on the paper towel and let them dry up a bit. Use the cotton bud to dip a little bit of alcohol or other sterilizing liquid, slightly and gently clean the false eyelashes and especially the false eyelashes base.

Step 4: Wait until they false eyelashes are completely dry, then take them back to the box for storage before you use them next time.

Before applying the false eyelashes, the most important procedure is to choose the best false eyelashes for yourself. Type and color are the two main factors that you should consider.

Choice of false eyelashes

There are many different types, different length and different colors of false eyelashes that you can buy. Which one you should choose?

The most common three types of false eyelashes, including the ones with the false eyelashes are in parallel, the ones that the false eyelashes are crossed and the ones with sequin, etc. As normally, you do not want it too obvious that you are wearing false eyelashes, so it is always best for you to choose thickness that is similar to your real eyelashes unless you are going to a party where you are expecting to have an exaggerated look.

Make sure your eye make up matches what you wear. For example, never wear a thick exaggerated eyelashes when you are in a dark formal shift dress.

The most common colors of false eyelashes no doubt are black and brown with other colorful false eyelashes getting more and more popular. Like the type of false eyelashes, you r choice of color should be similar to your real eyelashes.

Embellish you false eyelashes

When you have applied false eyelashes above your eyelashes, you should use mascara for the lower lashes in order to get the same tone。 Or, you can choose to use eyeliner pencil to draw the unobvious shadow of the lower lashes and spread with your fingertips a little bit.

False eyelashes care

Many of the fake eyelashes are actually reusable (5-8 times) but unluckily they are frail and fragile, so you must handle them with care or you will have to buy new ones very often, which cost you.  Here are some tips for taking good care of you false eyelashes:

1. When you take it out from the box, never try to hold it from the base.
2. Take it out with your fingers gently in the direction of the eyelashes.
3. When you take the fake eyelashes off from your eyes, hold the middle part of the false eyelashes and pull them slightly but quickly.
4. Never try to hold just two or three piece s of eyelashes.

Before you have put them back into the box, you should clean them thoroughly all the glue or adhesive, eye shadow, and Mascara from the false eyelashes or otherwise they will be easily broken and of course filthy.
