I have read some Japanese magazines recently and find that cute makeup looks have been popular for quite sometimes. I decided to show you one such cute makeup. The one we are going to introduce here is actually one of the most popular Asian makeup looks these days. This cute look is especially popular in Japan and the trend is spreading throughout other countries.
The key in this makeup look is the makeup for the eyes. Unlike other makeup looks, you can see that the outer eye corner is purposely done to give you a downward feel. Step 1:
Apply brownish gold eye shadow onto your eyelid with a brush. You can emphasize the color around the outer eye corner. This can help to establish the layer feel. (Tip: The eye shadow color should not be too dark which can be over-emphasized and draw away the attention for the whole look!)
Step 2:
Draw a thin eye black eye line. Smooth and thin eye line is enough. You do not need a thick one like Smokey eye makeup for a cute look. The most important thing is to draw a little bit longer (extend a bit) at the inner and outer eye corner.
Step 3:
Apply thick, long and curl false eyelashes at the outer eye corner. Remember, you do not need full false eyelashes applied onto your eye lid. Trim it into around half or 1/3 of your eye length. Apply thick fake eyelashes only at the outer eye corner emphasizes the downward feel!
Step 4: ,/h3>To make your eyes look even larger and rounder, you need fake eyelashes on your lower lash line. Instead of full false eyelashes, you trim the false eyelashes (for lower lashes) into shorter pieces. Apply around 4 pieces onto your lower lash line.
Step 5: ,/h3>To be cuter, apply pink rouge in a circular motion onto your cheek. Focus more on the centre of your cheek instead of applying upward to the side of your forehead.
Step 6:
Apply pink lip gloss to your lips. As the pink color is light, you may need to cover your original lip color with concealer first. This establishes the nude lip makeup.
Makeup Tips
For this cute makeup look, the drawing of eye line and skill of applying false eyelashes are important. First, you must draw an extended eye line. The eye line should be drawn downward near the outer eye corner. False eyelashes on lower lash line are a must. And you should apply thicker and longer false eyelashes near the outer eye corner to emphasize the downward feel!
As the downward eyes give people a gentle feeling, the use of pink rouge and lip gloss is to add back the cute feel. The pink nude lip and rouge reveal your cute face!
